Analysts at Nomura offered their model’s projection for today’s USD/CNY fix.

“Our model1 projects the fix to be 59 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6395 from 6.6336) and 85 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6480.”

“The basket implied change is 103 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6377 from 6.6480).”
