USD: White House Reshuffle Supports Our Structural Weaker USD Outlook This Year – BTMU

Who is next after Rexit? And what is next for the US Dollar? The White House has seen a quick turnover that hasn’t ended quite yet and it is set to hurt the greenback.

BTMU Research discusses the USD outlook in light of the recent White House’s reshuffle this week.

Political instability under the Trump administration  supports our view that the US dollar should continue to trade with more of a risk premium priced in.

The ongoing shift in key personnel at the White House is playing into current concerns as well that the US could pursue a more confrontational and protectionist policy agenda going forward.

Overall, the developments support our outlook or a weaker US dollar this year,” BTMU argues.
