Major equity indexes in the U.S. started the day in the negative territory on Wednesday as investors continue to react to latest headlines surrounding the U.S.-China trade dispute. As of writing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.03% on the day while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite were down 0.08% and 0.14%, respectively. Earlier today, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted out China had informed him that the  Vice-Premier was coming to the U.S. “to make a deal.” On the other hand, the Federal Register published the official notice of the U.S. raising the tariff rate on $200 billion worth of Chinese imports to 25% at 00:01 on Friday from 10%. Among the 11 major S&P 500 sectors, the Real Estate is up 0.5% on the day to lead the gains while the Utilities is erasing 0.8%.
