In an interview with Fox Business Network on Tuesday, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow reiterated that the trade deal with China was intact. “China has picked up its game on trade,” Kudlow added.
Regarding the next stimulus package, “tax rebates, direct mail checks are on the table in next coronavirus relief bill,” Kudlow said and added that there won’t be a second nationwide lockdown.
Market reaction
Wall Street’s main indexes continue to push higher following these comments. As of writing, the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average were both up 1.05% on the day.
