Forex Factory Market – Aggregated Forex Quotes

Forex Factory, the leading independent forex portal, added live quotes and charts. The advantage is that the quotes are aggregated from multiple brokers, and this makes them more reliable.

Forex Factory announced this release in a blog post that describes the service. The quotes and charts can be customized by time range, chart type and more. Similar to their calendar, the time zone is also saved. Check them out here.

This system was developed from scratch, and it isn’t based on any specific forex broker. I like this independent approach, and it makes their quotes more reliable in my eyes.

The downside of the independent development is that it’s still in beta and the data is refreshed automatically, but only hitting the refresh button. Another drawback that they warned of is downtime, but I must say that I still haven’t encountered any downtime.

I hope that this feature, available in the Market tab, will develop. It’s essential to have independent, aggregated forex quotes.
