Analysts at Nomura offered their model’s outlook for today’s fix in USD/CNY.

“Our model1 projects the fix to be 323 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8535 from 6.8212) and 156 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8379. The basket implied change is 214 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8593 from 6.8379).”
