Trump says Fed is his ‘biggest threat’

President Donald Trump on Tuesday has once again voiced his disapproval of the current path that the Fed is on.

He previously said that the US doesn’t  have an inflation problem and that the central bank is going too fast in raising rates and that he doesn;t  like the Federal Reserve’s decision to continue to hike interest rates – “I don’t want to slow it down even a little bit” when there are no signs of inflation, the president added, referring to the economy last week.

Today, Trump has echoed his concerns and said the Fed is his ‘biggest threat’.

“Because the Fed is raising rates too fast and it’s independent so I don’t speak to him but I’m not happy with what he’s doing because it’s going too fast because you look at the last inflation numbers, they’re very low,”

Trump said in an interview with Fox Business.

He also said that he is ‘not so happy’ with a couple of other  people he appointed to the Fed ‘other than Chairman Powell’
