US Treasury Sec Mnuchin: Will not be participating in Future Investment Initiative summit in Saudi Arabia

“Just met with President Trump and Secretary Pompeo and we have decided, I will not be participating in the Future Investment Initiative summit in Saudi Arabia,” the U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin recently announced via Twitter.

Earlier in the day, Liam Fox, Britain’s the international trade secretary, also pulled out of the summit amid allegations that Saudi Arabia murdered the missing journalist, Jamal Khashoggi.
