Analysts at Nomura offered their model’s projection for today’s fix in USD/CNY.

“Model projection: 6.9530 versus 6.9275 previous (255 pips higher; 121 pips higher from the previous official spot close). Model projection with counter-cyclical factor: 6.9412 (137 pips higher from the previous fix).”
