Italy’s Tria would like 2019 growth target to be below 1.5% – Messaggero

According to a report by Messaggero, Italy plans partially conciliatory EU response on budget and the country’s Economy Minister Giovanni Tria would like 2019 growth target to be below 1.5%. A possible growth target is said to be around 1.1% to 1.2%.

This is similar to an earlier  report, via Il Sole, saying that Italy will keep 2.4% budget deficit target for 2019 but may adjust the growth target for 2019.
