Adding to his earlier comments, the European Central Bank Governing Council member Ewald Nowotny further said that the narrative outlined in December meeting is valid and we can still imagine a rate hike this year.
Nowotny does not expect major policy changes in the near future, citing that the recent economic data has developed worse than expected.
