A report from crypto research firm, known as Messari, has reported their findings that suggests Ripple’s XRP circulating market cap is “significantly overstated” across the wide majority of crypto data service providers, in addition to exchanges, by possibly as much as 46%.
Messari, report that Ripple’s XRP circulating market cap is actually $6.9 billion, versus the current report $13 billion, at the time of writing via coinmarketcap. This would make it the third-largest cryptocurrency, tracking behind both Bitcoin ($63 billion) and Ethereum ($12 billion).
Ripple’s XRP price at the time of writing was seen trading up with modest gains of some 1%, at $0.3194. XRP/USD price action has been moving within a bearish flag pattern formation, subject to a potential breakout to the downside.
