Austrian Chancellor Kurz objects renegotiating Brexit

Sebastian Kurz, Chancellor of Austria, repeated the European Union’s message that the Brexit accord will not be renegotiated. The UK is set to leave the EU on March 29th.

The EU’s Donald Tusk was the first official to reject the Brady Amendment approved by the UK Parliament, a motion that calls for finding alternative arrangements to the Irish Backstop. His words were echoed by Irish PM Leo Varadkar and other leaders.

The British Pound has stabilized after the initial drop it had suffered  after the vote on Tuesday.
