The UK PM Theresa May’s spokesman, James Slack crossed the wires in the last hour, saying that the government is looking at options to secure changes to backstop in Brexit deal and expects to discuss those with the EU shortly.
May and ministers have had a series of meetings on Brexit and the work coming from those meetings are ongoing, the spokesman added further.
