Report: Blockchain spending in the US to rise from $3.1 million to $41.1 million by 2025

  • The report states that the  U.S. will report a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 44.5% between 2019-2025.
  • The U.S. will see the largest blockchain spending of $1.1 billion, followed by Western Europe ($674 million) and China ($319 million).

A new report dubbed the “United States Blockchain Business Opportunities and Outlook Databook Series (2016-2025)” forecasts that Blockchain spending in the US will rise from $3.1 million to $41.1 million by 2025. The report states:

“Blockchain spend in United States has increased at 110.1% during 2018 to reach US$ 1,651.2 million. Over the forecast period (2019-2025), spend on blockchain is expected to record a CAGR of 44.5%, increasing from US$ 3,127.3 million in 2019 to reach US$ 41,112.6 million by 2025.”

The aim of the report was stated as follows:

When compared to other geographic territories, the U.S. will see the largest blockchain spending of $1.1 billion, followed by Western Europe ($674 million) and China ($319 million). All territories will still experience tremendous growth over the 2018-2022 forecast period led by Japan and Canada with five-year CAGRs of 110% and 90%, respectively.
