Breaking: BTC/USD breaks above $5,000 for the first time since November 2018

Bitcoin (BTC) gained over 22% in a matter of minutes with no particular catalysts in sight. The first digital coin hit the area above $5,000 and growing. The market is on the move with the situation changing every second.

Looking technically, BTC/USD broke above $4,200 which might have triggered the snowballing movement. Once the break above $5,000 is confirmed, the price will enter an uncharted territory.
