- NEM stated that they would be engaging with the media and their partners to let them know about Catapult and its various features.
- They have also made progress in their software portal to onboard NEM Contractors to work with NEM Foundation.
NEM Foundation released its updates for April following the launch of the Catapult Roadmap. They stated:
“NEM Foundation will be engaging with the media and partners to communicate this message. We are also inviting the community to provide continuous input via the forum and will be working progressively on the work we have been doing in developing supporting applications for the launch of Catapult.”
Along with that, they stated the following updates:
- The Version 2.4.4 of the NEM Wallet 5 has upgraded its voting experience on the Mainnet.
- NEM Community Fund will be stopping its fund distribution following the establishment of NEM Ventures 7.
- Nelson Valero has resigned as Vice President and Executive Committee of NEM.io Foundation.
- Grégory Saive is the Head Developer for NEM Foundation.
- Anton Bosenko is in charge of “Processes & General Support.”
- Steve Li is in charge of the generation of all the policies that will govern the Foundation.
- Dona Rinon has been working with the Finance Department, establishing the necessary processes to be able to monetize through OTC.
- Pedro Gutierrez is in charge (work in progress) of structuring the business development vertical.
Progress update on Proof of Concept Setup of a ‘Request For Proposal’ Software Portal
NEM stated that they had made progress in their software portal to onboard NEM Contractors to work with NEM Foundation. They said:
“With the software portal, we will see more transparency, efficiency and integrity in the vendor management process towards the selection of third-party contributors. There will be a further announcement on the NEM Contractors program in our next update.”
