UK PM May said to write to Tusk today requesting a Brexit extension

The Press Association quotes a Downing Street source on the matter, as saying that the UK PM Theresa May is reportedly set to write to the European Council President Tusk today requesting a Brexit extension.

This comes after a senior EU official was reported saying that Tusk is looking to propose a 12’month Brexit extension to the UK next week.
