According to The Guardian, speaking to reporters on the sidelines at the meeting of G7 foreign ministers in Dinard in France, Germany’s foreign minister Heiko Maas said that there were many questions that London needs to clarify.
“We will come together with our European colleagues at the next council meeting and come to an opinion over the question of an extension and how long such an extension should be,” Maas said.
Earlier in the day, Dutch PM Rutte adopted a similar tone by saying that he hoped that the UK would give more clarity before next week’s summit.
