UK Parliament evacuated due to fire alert – Reuters

A Reuters witness notes that the UK parliament was evacuated on Monday due to a fire alert.

Further Details:

A message over the PA system urged people to leave the building.

Lawmakers were also asked to leave the area as a loud alarm sounded.

However, it’s now being reported that the people now being let back into the British parliament as the fire alarm turns off.
