EU’s Barnier: No reason for optimism that EU and Britain can find solution to question of Irish backstop

With markets eagerly awaiting the UK Supreme Court ruling on UK PM John’s parliament proroguement, the EU Chief Brexit negotiator Barnier came out on the wires, saying that he sees no reason for optimism that EU and Britain can find a solution to question of the Irish backstop.
