US: Commerce Dept has begun review of export controls ordered by Trump – Reuters

Reuters has recently reported that the U.S. Commerce Department has begun the review of export controls ordered by President Trump to enhance the national security.

According to the report,  new export controls will be based on risks associated with certain technologies, destinations, end-uses, and the  review will “align with” CFIUS legislation’s requirement to review emerging, foundational technologies essential to the U.S. national security.
