Reuters is reporting that the Australian PM Turnbull is scheduled to hold a press conference shortly at 0300 GMT.
Markets are speculating that the presser is likely to be about the Upper House voting against the government tax cut bill.
Earlier today, the Australian Foreign Minister Bishop noted that PM Turnbull rejected Cabinet resignations as new challenge looms.
