US commerce secretary Ross: Now is not the best time to negotiate with China

The US commerce secretary Wilbur Ross, speaking with Fox Business this Tuesday, reiterated the US President Donald Trump’s earlier comments and said that now is not the best time to negotiate with China.

The market reaction, however, turned out to be rather muted, with the US Dollar struggling to gain any positive traction and hanging near one-month lows, around mid-94.00s.
