Russian Foreign Ministry: Working to set up Lavrov-Pompeo meeting – Interfax

Russia’s news agency, Interfax, quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova , citing that Russia was working to set up a meeting between Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on the sidelines of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.

The General Assembly starts in New York on Sept. 18.
