The UK PM spokesman was out on the wires in the last hour, saying that Chequers proposals are the only credible and negotiable Brexit plan.

“¢ Believes that Chequers proposal can carry the support of the House of Commons.
Commenting on the earlier news that the UK Treasury has opened talks with Carney to stay on as BoE Governor, the spokesman said:
“¢ May thinks that Carney has done a good job.
“¢ Carney has said that he intends to step down in 2019.
“¢ So that is still the plan.
Meanwhile, the British Pound held on to the disappointing UK manufacturing PMI led weakness, with the GBP/USD pair struggling below the 1.2900 handle, near the lower end of its daily trading range.
