Analysts at Nomura offered their model’s projection for today’s fix.

“Our model1 projects the fix to be 102 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8319 from 6.8217) and 12 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8307. The basket implied change is 14 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8321 from 6.8307).”
