OPEC may raise oil output as early as June, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. The move would be aimed at tempering the oil rally partially fuelled by worries over Iranian and Venezuelan supply.
“All options are on the table,” one Gulf oil source told Reuters. A second source said, “We are still studying the different scenarios”, and added that OPEC may decide to ease output restrictions in June but new regulations might come into effect after three or four months.
