Kim Yong Chol, an important North Korean official who delivered a letter from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, met with the US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Friday. Following the meeting, Trump spoke to media and said that a meeting with Kim Jonh Un would take place on June 12 in Singapore, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.
According to the reports, Trump didn’t discuss human rights issues with the North Korean official and added that he didn’t open the letter during the meeting.
