Bank of England will raise rates August – Reuters poll

Bank of England (BOE) will likely raise interest rates by 25 basis points in August as long as there is evidence the first quarter slowdown was transitory. Markets put the probability of a rate hike in August a little over 50-percent, according to Reuters report.
