According to the latest Bank of England/TNS Inflation Attitudes Survey, released this Friday, the headline inflation expectations over the next 12-month stood at 2.9%, unchanged from previous survey conducted in February.

“¢ 25% of UK public has no idea how interest rates will change over next 12 months.
“¢ 51% of public expects UK interest rates to rise over next 12 months.
“¢ Inflation two-years ahead seen at 2.9% (unchanged).
“¢ Inflation five-years ahead seen at 3.6% (3.4% prior).
