The European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member Erkki Liikanen reportedly said that the ECB can hold rates even after summer 2019 if needed.

Liikanen backs Draghi’s comments at the ECB Forum in Sintra, citing that significant monetary accommodation still needed.
