UK PM May: Both sides want a faster pace in Brexit negotiations

British Prime Minister Theresa May has recently crossed the wires saying that both  sides wanted a faster pace in Brexit negotiations, as reported by Reuters. Meanwhile,  Irish Prime Minister Varadkar argued that they had to start making preparations for the unlikely scenario of Britain crashing out of the EU without a deal.

As of writing, the GBP/USD pair was trading at 1.3066, losing 50 pips, or 0.4%, on the day.
