EUR futures: still consolidative near term

In light of CME Group’s preliminary figures for EUR futures markets, investors added 8.8K contracts on Monday from Friday’s final 494,408 contracts. Volume, instead, decreased by more than 18K contracts.

EUR/USD faces further rangebound

No change in the near term broad sidelined stance around EUR/USD. Open interest rose by 8.8K contracts on Monday, although the moderate drop in volume should undermine any bullish attempt.
