According to the latest headlines floating on the wires, European Union leaders are likely to hold an emergency summit in November to consider any Brexit agreement struck with Britain.
Some sources, cited by Reuters, said that the EU has low expectations that negotiations can be wrapped up before the EU Summit in October, missing an informal deadline.
The Irish border remains a key sticking point and that November discussions are looking more likely.
The process could even slip into December, leaving little time for ratification of an agreement before Britain becomes the first country ever to leave the bloc in March 2019.
