New US tariffs on $16 billion Of Chinese goods are set to take effect at 04:01 GMT today

The US will begin collecting tariffs on $16 billion worth of Chinese goods from 04:01 GMT today.

Trade negotiators for the US and China returned to the table yesterday to discuss ways to end the escalating trade tiff between the world’s two biggest economies.
