Analysts at Nomura offered their model’s fix projection.

“Our model1 projects the fix to be 103 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8175 from 6.8072) and 43 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8218. The basket implied change is 51 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8167 from 6.8218).”
