Analysts at Nomura offered their model’s projection for today’s fix in the USD/CNY today.

Key Quotes:

“Our model1 projects the fix to be 295 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8408 from 6.8113) and 48 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8360. The basket implied change is 55 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8415 from 6.8360).”
