Turkish TradeMin: To sign deal with Qatar for comprehensive trade liberalisation

Turkish Trade Ministry recently stated that they would be signing a deal with Qatar for comprehensive trade liberalisation by securing a cheaper supply of refined oil products and natural gas, as reported by Reuters. Back in August, it was announced that Qatar would be investing $15 billion in Turkey.

The USD/TRY pair didn’t show a reaction to this development and was last seen at 6.62, where it was up nearly 1% on the day.
