Analysts at Nomura offered their model’s projection for today’s USD/CNY fix.

“Our model1 projects the fix to be 215 pips higher than the previous fix (6.8461 from 6.8246) and 162 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8299. The basket implied change is 226 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.8525 from 6.8299).”
