Japanese Economy Minister Motegi was on the wires last minutes, via Reuters, noting that Japan and the US have some differences in views on trade but will seek how best to proceed with the discussions.

No further details have been mentioned on the same.

On Monday, Japan’s PM Abe expressed his take on the latest US-Japan trade spat by saying that trade fights do benefit any country.
