EU’s Tusk: Without a clear solution on Irish border, talks are unlikely to continue in November

The European Council President Donald Tusk is now responding to questions from the press at a press conference at the Salzburg summit.

• The atmosphere was much better than it was 3 weeks ago.
• We need clear & precise guarantees on Irish question.
• Without a clear solution on Irish border, talks are unlikely to continue in November.
• I’m a little bit more optimistic when it comes to the outcome of our negotiations.
