Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz was reported by Reuters, as saying that the European Commission must reject Italy’s draft budget unless changes are made to it.
Kurz noted: “If it is not amended, the European Commission must reject the budget.”
Last hour, the Austrian Finance Minister Loeger said that Italy is taking the EU hostage and breaching the budget rules would open door to other countries to do the same.
