French Finance Minister to meet his Italian counterpart on Thursday – Reuters News

French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire will meet Italy’s Finance Minister Professor Giovanni Tria on Thursday.

The European Commission (EC) on Tuesday told Italy to revise its budget, saying its deficit targets and unrealistic assumptions about growth pose a serious threat to economic stability.

Italy now has three weeks to submit a revised budget.
