According to a leaked version of the UK PM Theresa May’s Brexit plan obtained by the Times, Brexit would be a “rolling” process that could stall at annual decision points as the transition is reviewed.
The Times reporter Sam Coates noted: “The U.K. would be given the unilateral option of either extending the implementation plan or going into the backstop if the FTA isn’t ready by Dec 31 2020.”
