According to Steven Swinford, a Telegraph reporter, Rees-Mogg – the leader of the European Research Group (ERG) hard Brexiteers, just threatened to submit his letter of no confidence in the Chamber.
This comes on the back of a general protest against the UK PM Theresa May’s draft Brexit deal, which further fueled political uncertainty and kept a lid on the GBP/USD pair’s attempted intraday rebound from the two-week low level of 1.2750.
