According to the latest headlines floating on the wires, Ranil Malcolm Jayawardena – a British Conservative Party politician, resigned as Parliamentary Private Secretaries (PPS) at the Ministry of Justice.
This marked the sixth resignation (four ministers, two ministerial aides) from the government on Thursday, in protest of the UK PM Theresa May’s Brexit deal, and capped the GBP/USD pair’s attempted intraday rebound, following the early slump to two-week lows.
