President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker announced early Friday that the European Union will begin publishing all information concerning a no-deal Brexit scenario and their preparations for such an event beginning on December 19th.
Juncker noted that there will be no legally-binding new obligations imposed on the EU as a result of Brexit, which severely impedes the UK’s ability to continue squabbling for further negotiation alterations, and Juncker lamented that despite seeing UK Prime Minister Theresa May work hard, they have seen little to no results, effectively laying the lack of progress at the feet of hard-line Brexiteers within the UK’s own parliament, rather than on the unmoving EU.
“Our British friends have to tell us what they want, instead of telling us what we want. We often find ourselves in a nebulous, vague debate and it is time we got clarity. Mrs May is fighting hard and bravely but we haven’t seen results. We don’t want the UK to feel there can be any form of renegotiation whatsoever. We can add some clarifications but there will be no renegotiations.” – EU’s Juncker
