With investors continuing to flee to safer U.S. Treasury bonds amid concerns over a global economic slowdown, yields extend declines on Thursday. As of writing, the 10-year reference is losing 3.25% on the day to its lowest level since January 2018 at 2.575% while the 2-year and the 5-year references are down 3.4% and 4.2%, respectively. Finally, the long-term 30-year bond yield is at 2.903%, erasing 2.65%.
