The EU Commission spokesman, speaking to reporters in Brussels this Thursday said that they have not yet received a request for an extension of Article 50 and if request arrives, EU27 will need a reason and will decide by unanimity.
Juncker has had Brexit contact with almost everybody, have not spoken but texting the UK PM May. Everything is out there that we can do from the EU side, the spokesman added further.
